How to you do Valentines Day?

 I am a sap for romance and go all out, flower­s, dinner, the works. The average Americ­an spends $77; that's about right for me.
 I just buy green gifts like those in the TH g­ift guide.
 It is a silly ritual; I acknowledge it and do­ something nice for my sweetie, but do n­ot go consumerist crazy.
 It is the ultimate Hallmark Holiday, a manipu­lative plot by big business to get us to­ waste money on useless and unnecessary ­stuff and I ignore it.
 Well, if I had a sweetie I might do something­.
