How to you do Valentines Day?
I am a sap for romance and go all out, flowers, dinner, the works. The average American spends $77; that's about right for me.
I just buy green gifts like those in the TH gift guide.
It is a silly ritual; I acknowledge it and do something nice for my sweetie, but do not go consumerist crazy.
It is the ultimate Hallmark Holiday, a manipulative plot by big business to get us to waste money on useless and unnecessary stuff and I ignore it.
Well, if I had a sweetie I might do something.
