Should TreeHuggers have Purebred Pets?
Yes; if humans were to stop breeding them, the diversity of breeds would diminish. Before you say "well, that wouldn't be such a bad thing" think about the heirloom seed movement.
Maybe; there are some breeds like Pomeranians and English Bulldogs that are so artificial they need C-sections to reproduce. This is not a good thing.
No; Why buy when you can adopt one of the 70,000 puppies and kittens born every day in the United States?
