In last week’s Speech from the Throne, the idea of changing the words to "O Canada" was raised in order to make it more gender neutral -- from "In all thy sons command" to "Thou dost in us command" (1908 version).

A new national study that ranks Canadian history curricula in high schools ranks Quebec as the head of the class. PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Northwest Territories took home an "F". Too many provinces in Canada don’t take the teaching of Canadian history seriously, and for that reason, many students in Canada graduate with little knowledge about our country’s past.
