Multilingual IdeaScale Portals | Language settings - How to?

Can I set my IdeaScale Portal in languages other than English?

Yes. We support full internationalization (i18n) -- Including Chinese, Japanese ie. Multibyte Character Set languages.

How to set up correct character encoding?

Go to:

  • Login »  IdeaScale »  My IdeaScale (Select IdeaScale Portal) »  Settings »  Global
  • Select the appropriate language from the Language menu and click on the Save Changes button.

All the system text on the Portal will be displayed in the user selected Language.

Note: In some cases we do not have the translations for all the system text : In such cases, please contact technical support and we'll add in the prompts for you.
