What is a Device Key?
To access SurveyPocket from your tablet or smartphone, you will require a unique Device Key. This device key is required to integrate your account surveys with the device and helps with synchronization of data. Currently following devices are supported.

How to generate a device key?
To generate a device key go to:
- Login » Surveys » Apps » Custom Apps » SurveyPocket
Click on the Purchase Device Key button to add a key.

Once the key is added you can enter in the unique device key (username) on your tablet / smartphone and access SurveyPocket.

Each device key is unique and can only be used once to register a device. Once registered, it will not be usable on any other device. You will require a new device key for each device
How can I grant access to only particular survey(s)?
When adding a device key you can specify Folder Access for the device. Once you set this up the particular device will only have access to surveys in that particular folder.

You can see which device has access to which folder. By default each device will have access to surveys in all folders.

How can I analyze data collected based on the Device Key?
When respondent answers the survey from an iPad/iPhone device, the device key is stored along with the response as Custom Variable 1. This data is available with all data downloads. You can analyze data based on Custom Variable 1 which is the Device Key.

System Variable Based Grouping / Data Segmentation can also be used to analyze data based on the Device Key. Device Key for each response is stored in Custom Variable 1. You can set up grouping / data segmentation based on Custom Variable 1 to analyze responses based on the Device Key. Can "Location" data be captured?
Yes - Location data capture is in BETA mode. If Location data is turned on, then a Google Map is displayed with the specific GPS Coordinates:

Currently SurveyPocket is only available with QuestionPro and SurveyAnalytics. QuestionPro has a limit of 5 Device Keys per account. If you need more than 5 device keys, please contact the Enterprise Sales Team for SurveyAnalytics.
